Gratitude feels different this year. As a Los Angeles-based small business, so much has happened this year within our beautiful city (and county) and to our beautifully diverse communities, that we can’t help but feel a little less cheerful than usual, coming into the holiday season.
I.C.E. raids, the devastating fires, food and job insecurity, and the negative impact all of these things have made on our communities and businesses, at large, really makes you take a look at what is important and reframe how you look at what you’re truly grateful for.
Given the loss of our home, office/studio space, and all of our business inventory back in January, we are so undeniably grateful for the people and community that have supported and uplifted us through it.

Given the devastating circumstances and continued injustices affecting so many, at LEISURE & JOIE, we are grateful to, with your support of our small business, continue giving 3% of our total annual sales to the ACLU Foundation 501(c)(3).
In these uncertain times, their work gives not only hope, but actionable help to those affected.
During this season of giving, we’d like for you to consider using your power - your money, to actively #shopsmall, support local restaurants, and donate to causes you value. If you’re not able to contribute money, please consider volunteering your time - a precious resource you can’t get back.

A FEW THINGS:
Please note, to avoid adding fulfillment fees to your holiday orders, gift orders will not be gift-wrapped but shipped to the recipient in the usual method. If you would like to gift wrap the items for the recipient or are purchasing for multiple recipients, please have the order shipped directly to you.
We highly advise SHOPPING EARLY! Orders MUST be received no later than 3:00pm PST, by MON, 12/15/25 to be shipped in time* for holiday. Orders received after that date, may not arrive in time.
