We write our own blog posts here at LEISURE & JOIE and though ChatGPT may be taking over, we find sharing our thoughts with you is an authentic and insightful experience for you to get to know us, while being cathartic, for us.
Gratitude is the easiest way to recenter yourself. When you feel lack in some way, reminding yourself there is plenty to be thankful for, really helps put things into perspective.
Gratitude gives. It gives us the chance to reframe our thinking, it gives us the chance to add joy to our lives in an instant.

When you are grateful, you are PRESENT.
If you are anxious about something or feeling any other emotion, you are likely not feeling gratitude. Whether thinking of something in the past or something yet to pass, you are not present.
The good news is, those feelings will be your sign to bring yourself BACK into the present.
At times, it can be pretty difficult to feel gratitude - especially when you feel like you’re in the thick of whatever your situation may be.
Just remember, one beautiful aspect of life is that - it changes.

No matter how dire things may be - PLEASE - don’t give up. Trust that you’ll make it through.
Recognizing that whatever you are experiencing is temporary, is a silver lining of sorts. And while that can mean that good times don’t last forever, it also means the bad times don’t either…
