APPRECIATE THE JOURNEY

celebrate where you are

Naturally, you may feel a bit nostaglic as the year draws to a close. Reflecting on what transpired, good and bad, can inspire change for your new year.

If you’re anything like us, you may take stock of all the things you were able to accomplish, start, get through (even if there were tears involved - not saying we cried or anything like that - but we’re not not saying it lol) and choose to celebrate all of it - even the not-so amazing things.

TBH, waiting until things are absolutely “perfect” to be happy about our lives - is a lot of time wasted not being happy at all.

YOUR PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCES DON’T DETERMINE WHERE YOU CAN GO. THEY MERELY DETERMINE WHERE YOU START.

let go of fear

It is daunting, the “not knowing”, of what will come. Why not choose adventure and excitement over anxiety and fear? Don’t allow fear to take over your mindset and risk losing all the magic the unknown has to offer!

Choosing to be positive in the face of the unknown and taking intentionally-targeted action toward where you’d like to be, might just pleasantly surprise you.

decide where you are going

Design your life - plan and then… allow yourself to adapt to life as it happens. Be creative in your thinking and think BIG. Why not? Who says you have to play safe, stay small and lose the dreams you have had for your life - no matter how out of reach they might seem right now?

Choose your path… make your way. Work toward it and allow yourself to dream the way you did when you were a child. After all, isn’t that a beautiful way to look at life? Filled with wonder and hopeful anticipation?

ENJOY THE NOW

As you make your plans for the near and distant future, just don’t forget to be here - NOW.

As you read this post, you’re present. When you are rooted in the present, you can’t be in the past or the future and that - is a good thing.

There is plenty to be grateful for - right NOW.

There are so many things going on in our everyday lives, as well as, in the world as a whole - some good, some absolutely terrible. Accepting things that are happening, while taking action toward good and being empathetic towards others and their plight, can help combat feeling utterly powerless.

Remember - you’re breathing, you’re focused, and hopefully - feeling a bit inspired… inspired to do what you can with what you have to help others.

VALUE YOUR PATH

Not one of us is living our human experience in the exact same way and we should know, this is something we should embrace.

NOT ONE OF US actually has “it” all figured out and that in itself should be comforting.

We’re all just out here doing the best we can, right?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU.

Being a small business owner is not for the faint of heart. By no means do we have it all figured out, but our journey thus far has truly been the best part.

YOU have been a part of our community and we have felt so entirely supported which absolutely gives us the courage to keep going, to keep moving forward - even when things get tough or scary.

We are tremendously grateful and hope you’ll continue supporting us in our small corner of the internet.

Let us all go bolding and bravely into a new year, anticipating only the best.
