Make it all easier to manage.
tips to stay in a more positive and balanced mood.
WAKE UP EARLIER
Getting up, even just 15 minutes earlier, allows you time to fully, WAKE UP and not be thrown into the chaotic feeling of “lateness”.
Not feeling rushed automatically makes the day start more positively and peaceful.
MAKE YOUR BED*
Make it the FIRST THING YOU DO as soon as you’re out of bed. (Unless, there is someone in there, in which case - that can be their task or just work it into another part of your morning routine). The satisfaction of getting something done, will set the tone for the rest of your day.
CHANGE THE AIR
Open the window, spray your favorite scent or light a candle or incense. Allow the fragrance and the sound of nature - IN. Nature, by way of fresh air, somehow always provides feelings of newness, which makes for a refreshing start to your day.
HYDRATE
It may sound silly that one would need to be reminded about something as simple as drinking water… SURPRISINGLY, we do! Your body has just spent the last 6-8 hours (hopefully, right?) asleep and needs hydration! You’ll feel satisfied instantly - thirst quenched!
JOURNAL / MAKE or REVIEW A TO-DO LIST
BEFORE you let all of the things or thoughts that rush into your mind take over, OVERWHELMING YOU, write them down. Doing so brings CLARITY.
See what you’ve noted - prioritize that which MUST get done. If they are collected thoughts, reflect on them - feel what you’re feeling, think what you’re thinking and then RELEASE them… so you are FREE to get on with your day - in PEACE.
If you are a night owl, winding DOWN may be where you find the most peace.
Take stock of what you enjoyed in your day, what was great, what may be improved upon for future and then… RELAX.
Having a routine can help you manage being your best self in any scenario you find yourself in.
Help yourself feel at ease… less stress, less chaos.
